Elise graduated from the University of Southern California in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a Minor in Spanish. She began her journey with Modern Thyroid Clinic during her sophomore year, providing both administrative and clinical support. Today, she serves as the Medical Assistant to Brandy Valentino, NP, and Nikki Abelow, NP—bringing focus, warmth, and reliability to patient care.
Initially considering a general path in medicine, Elise’s time at the clinic sparked a deeper calling. Seeing the profound improvements in patients once their thyroid conditions were accurately treated—particularly those with Hashimoto’s and hypothyroidism—ignited her passion for functional medicine. That experience has shaped her long-term goal of becoming a Physician Assistant.
Originally from San Antonio, Elise now lives in Los Angeles, where she also teaches Lagree fitness. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and discovering new coffee shops around the city. Her curiosity, compassion, and commitment to patient-centered care make her a valued member of the MTC team.
