McCall McPherson, PA-C
Clinician
Melody earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin, becoming a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014. She began her nursing career at Dell Seton Medical Center, where she spent five years before transitioning into primary care with a focus on thyroid disorders and hormonal imbalances.
Her passion for this field is personal. At 18, Melody began experiencing unrelenting fatigue, brain fog, and sleep disruptions. Initially told she was just a “tired college student,” she persisted in seeking answers and was eventually diagnosed with hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s disease. That early experience planted the seed for a lifelong mission to help others feel seen, heard, and properly treated.
Over the past 22 years, Melody has combined the insights of her own health journey with clinical expertise to guide her patients toward meaningful, long-term wellness. She believes no two patients are the same—even when they share a diagnosis. With a deep understanding that thyroid and adrenal hormones affect every cell in the body, she approaches each case with a personalized lens, knowing that unwellness touches every aspect of life, not just lab values.
Melody partners closely with her patients to identify their unique hormone needs, always focused on restoring balance, vitality, and quality of life. Her compassionate and methodical approach helps patients feel empowered, informed, and genuinely supported.
She lives in Austin with her husband, two daughters, and son, and enjoys spending time outdoors, running, playing tennis, reading, and making memories with family and friends.
