Sally Sykes, FMCHC

McCall McPherson, PA-C
Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach
A proud Austin native, Sally graduated cum laude from Georgetown University before earning both her law degree and Master of Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin. Though she began her career in law, her path shifted profoundly when her father was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and she herself was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. Those experiences sparked a deep commitment to functional medicine and preventive care.
Sally received her formal training through the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy and has spent over 15 years helping patients identify and address the root causes of chronic disease—especially in the areas of brain health, metabolic wellness, and weight loss resistance. She believes strongly in supporting patients with evidence-based strategies, including sustainable diet and lifestyle changes and, when appropriate, the use of GLP-1 medications.
Sally’s approach to coaching is grounded in education, empathy, and empowerment. She works closely with each individual to develop personalized, long-term strategies that go far beyond quick fixes—guiding them toward real transformation in both health and mindset.
She is passionate about helping others prevent chronic disease, lose weight, and keep it off—equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and support to thrive.
