As Senior Programs Manager at Modern Thyroid Clinic, Joy Blackburn leads and represents the company’s special programs, overseeing the correspondence, coordination, and administrative execution that bring each program to life. Her work includes, but is not limited to, the VIP Patient concierge experience and Clinician Certification Course, with a focus on creating thoughtful, seamless experiences from initial implementation through long-term program support.

Joy holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Sam Houston State University and has extensive experience in administrative support. Having held various roles within Modern Thyroid Clinic, she has developed a unique understanding of how the clinic operates and how each piece fits together. Her experience allows her to approach programs with both a big-picture perspective and an appreciation for the details that make them successful.

She is passionate about work that carries purpose and believes that thoughtful systems, intentional execution, and strong administrative ownership can create experiences that genuinely change people’s lives. Joy brings organization, positivity, warmth, and a people-first approach to every program she leads, always looking for ways to build something meaningful and sustainable for the patients, clinicians, and team she serves.

Outside of work, Joy loves traveling, spending quality time with friends and family, being with her boyfriend, Justin, and her beloved dog, Koda. She is also always up for an adventure - and any opportunity to visit Disney World or Disneyland is one she will never turn down.
