McCall McPherson, PA-C
Clinician
Yari earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 2004, followed by a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2005. She began her career in neurosurgery and pain management, gaining valuable experience in conventional medicine before her professional focus shifted.
Two years ago, Yari attended a transformative education conference on hormones that reshaped her entire approach to patient care. What began as professional development became a personal and clinical awakening—challenging the standard medical model and igniting a deep interest in functional medicine. She left the conference determined to go beyond symptom management and explore treatment plans that focus on identifying and addressing root causes, particularly in thyroid and hormone dysfunction.
Since that turning point, Yari has witnessed remarkable changes in her patients’ lives by integrating these new strategies. She brings this passion and perspective to every appointment, partnering with patients to help them reach their health and wellness goals with clarity, confidence, and compassion.
Yari lives in Austin with her two daughters. When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find her reading, running, or hiking the Greenbelt trails with her girls.
Above all remember:
There’s no reason to still have thyroid symptoms.
